My project thrives on the multiplicity of narratives connected to domestic textiles and embroidery. It reflects upon feminine experiences, emotions and interconnectedness between the personal and the political. The inherent quality of textiles to fold acts as a metaphor for an ongoing movement between formation and undoing, concealing and revealing. Simultaneously, they act as palette in an expanded abstract painting, composed of stitches, overlapping color fields, and the structures created by beeswax.<\/p>\n
